I'll be honest with you...not much going on in Amsterdam. Frankly, you'd have better luck finding an underground scene party. Unfortunately, after the five months I had been in Amsterdam I only found two such parties. Neither of them earned me any cash, but I made lots of neat friends. I think friends in Europe are way more valuable anyway, but if you want to do street performing you will need a valid permit. These are extremely difficult to obtain. I never got one. As it turns out, in order to apply for a street performing permit, you also need a valid working permit and a residential permit...etc. you get the idea I hope. Anyway, good luck and if you have any other questions feel free to ask...

Cheers,

So I may be moving to Amsterdam next year, i currently am in a fire troup in California SaDaFuego.com and i was wondering what the fire community in Amsterdam is like. Are there many fire friends to be made in yur community? Are there many opportunities to perform? Paying shows? Street performance? Tell me EVERYTHING! Is there a variety of fire tools used? I use fans, palms, poi and will be building a staff this weekend. Yay! I would love to connect with some other fire artists as i plan on traveling a couple times before moving. Many blessings and bright fire.....
